How it's done
01
Designing a rough draft
The first step requires gathering all the information that is to be on the website. From there we start to plan what would be the best format for the site. For sites with minimal content, a 'landing style' website is often the best choice. This puts all of the content into different sections on the same page. For projects with more information, it is usually necessary to break it up into multiple pages. Once we have the format of the site decided, we will start to sketch and organize the content into the different sections of the website.
02
Coding the designs
Once we have the website format decided and the different sections sketched out, we move on to the coding of the website. This is the stage of the project where we convert our sketches and ideas into the different sections of a website using the various web coding languages required.
03
Optimizing for best performance
Once the website has been created, it is necessary to go back and optimize each section for scalability. We must make sure that each section looks good whether on a pc or smaller device such as a smart phone. The code is edited to accommodate different web browsers that could be used and also ran through different checks to avoid coding errors and best use practices. Pictures are also optimized to cut down on file size while still retaining correct resolution for hd displays.
04
Hosting the files & maintaining
Once the website and optimizations have been completed, the website is uploaded to a web server. We have web servers available for our clients at affordable pricing for those who wish to keep things simple and under one roof. From here we can easily make any required updates to the site as time goes on. Unlike other companies, we do not charge monthly update fees that often times go unused. You only pay for the updates that are necessary and are not locked into extra monthly fees when no updates are needed.
